Rooster Boy Cafe is a cozy rustic restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch, and pastries using the freshest ingredients.
The chef and owner, Sonia El-Nawal, is a world-renowned pastry chef and baker. She has incorporated influences from all over the world into Rooster Boy’s menu. She also created her own brand of Rooster Boy Granola. The restaurant's motto is “Taste something happy!” She delivers that happiness by incorporating local, farm-fresh, and organic ingredients into the menu.
This cafe is inviting and laid back. It's a great spot for a coffee break, a snack, or a full breakfast (which is served all day, by the way), or lunch. Sit inside or out on the patio; either way, you’ll have a beautiful view of Desert Shores, a neighborhood located right on a lake.
The menu changes, featuring daily specials and specialty items for holidays; check their Instagram for updates. Try dishes like Brisket Hash, Fig & Caramelized Onion Galette, Roasted Salmon, and Chicken Tinga Tacos. Unique pastries are on the menu too. You won’t be able to resist creations like the Spinach Pesto Danish, Orange & Cranberry scones, homemade Cinnamon Rolls, and Sticky Buns with caramel and pecans.
